Dressing: After application, cover the wound with a suitable dressing to maintain a moist environment, ensuring the gel remains in contact with the wound. Frequency: Reapply the gel as directed by a healthcare professional, typically during each dressing change, until the wound shows signs of improvement. Hygiene: Always discard any unused gel after opening the tub if contamination is suspected, and observe standard clinical hygiene protocols during application.
Ingredients	Aqua (Water): The primary solvent that forms the base of the gel. Polyhexamethylene Biguanide (PHMB) 0.1% (Polyhexanide): An effective antiseptic agent for reducing microbial load and biofilm formation. Betaine: A surfactant that aids in the removal of debris and necrotic tissue while supporting moisture retention. Additional Excipients: These may include buffering agents and stabilisers designed to maintain the optimal pH and consistency of the gel.
